KBB Awards 2012
These awards are given out to specific products that have been developed to actively move forward the field of product innovation within the bathroom sector. While innovation is important, it is meaningless unless it translates into a saleable product so even the simplest developments may make a big impact. Commerciality is as important as achieving technical advancements and getting the consumer to buy into a new concept is often as difficult as the design itself.
Sometimes, the simplest ideas are among the best. Believe it or not, this single slim tube is a radiator designed to hang your towels or bathrobes on and the elegant design means it can be used in any sixed bathroom. The temperature control is at the top and used subtle ambient lighting to add a bit of atmosphere. Very simple, but very effective, especially when space is at a premium.
