Heating Element
All heating elements are IP rated - a system for classifying the degrees of protection provided by the enclosures of electrical equipment. The object of this rating is to :
- Protect persons against access to hazardous parts inside the enclosure.
- Protect equipment inside the enclosure against ingress of solid foreign objects.
- Protect equipment inside the enclosure against harmful effects due to the ingress of water.
All heating elements are CE approved.
Standard Element EE002
Suitable for installation into Zones 1, 2 and 3 of the bathroom for non high pressure water jet applications.
Manufactured in accordance with:
EN60335-1 / BS EN ISO 9001
Each standard element contains an internal preset over temperature switch and fail safe fuse. There is no thermostatic control with this element
although a suitably rated rheostat (CD-VR) will give thermal control when fitted into the electrical supply circuit.
Electronique Element EE001A
Suitable for installation into Zones 1, 2 and 3 of the bathroom.
Each standard Electronique element is able to achieve a constant surface temperature without expensive external control equipment.
The surface temperature will remain constant to the touch, whether the rail is fully covered with towels, or bare, in a cold or hot ambient, day or
night.
In the fully loaded towel warming mode, it will act to reduce power and save running cost.
In space heating mode the control system will increase the power to deliver the background heat needed to the maximum of its rated capacity.
The system is safe to touch and safety features are incorporated into the design to ensure the system will fail-safe in the unlikely event of control
component malfunction.
Thermostatic Element EE003
Suitable for installation into Zones 2 and 3 of the bathroom.
Operating temperature regulation - Between 20ºC and 70ºC
Each thermostatic element has three appliance temperature settings for maximum comfort, together with a frost protection position for peace of
mind. An integral LED provides a prominent reminder that the towel rail is operational.
Variheat Electronique Element EE001B
Suitable for installation into Zones 1, 2 and 3 of the bathroom for non high pressure water jet applications.
As well as offering the same benefits as the standard Electronique element, the Variheat electronique element features a 3 band LED temperature control setting.
Energy Efficient - When warming towels, the Variheat can save a minimum of 23% of energy compared to a standard heater. (Dependent upon
temperature control setting)
